I wonder who would be better in this whole youtube making business? Akarin (NMB48) or her?

  • Comment Link miki Sunday, 11 March 2018 05:35 posted by miki, this makes me sad because she was on PD48 and if she said she will make an YT channel does mean she doesen't pass the audition

she never said anything about auditioning for pd48, you may have fallen victim to baseless rumours

She's relatively popular among teen girls and primary students and since those ppl are usually the ones who hv more time to watch YouTube (statistically) maybe she will do well.
Personally I never enjoy watching Sakura's showroom tho

What the hell is PD48? Police Department 48?

    Fake edit:
Oooh, right, that Produce 48 thing... Eh, I guess that shows how much of a crap about that...

Shows how much you live in a cave then. It may be a official and legal ripoff of Produce 101, which as much as I hate to admit it, it was shockingly successful in Asia. IF PD48 had as much impact as it did for PD101, you can bet their popularity will skyrocket.

The info surfaced on Twitter on a fan acount.
True fan, or pure fabric ?
    Truth or all fake ?
Exact pronounced words or beautyfied ?
    Hard to say.

Actually, she never officially said anything regarding Produce48. She might have taken the audition, or not.

    Waiting and see.

K-pop fandom is kinda acidic right now and even though I loved Produce 101 I don't see Produce48 being successful, although I'd be happy if it was. I have a feeling things are going to be really rough on any akb that goes there so if this pushes Sakura away from it, I won't be sad.

I know what Produce 101 and Produce 48 are, that doesn't mean I give a crap about it, which was what I wrote. Never said anything about it being popular or not.

That said, how anyone can like AKB48 and K-Pop music at the same time is a mystery to me, and this comes from someone who love Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, Daft Punk, Radiohead, Bob Marley, Charly Garcia, Juan Luis Guerra, Peter Gabriel AND also loves AKB48, so my tastes are pretty eclectic to begin with. K-Pop (and modern western pop music as well) in general is just... nope.

what exactly is it that makes you think liking jpop and kpop are mutally exclusive?

that's pretty much the same as saying i can't imagine how someone would like pink floyd and akb48 at the same time, yet you admit that you like both regardless of genre. doesn't it come down to personal taste?

I like Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Queen, Metallica, Eagles, Bon Jovi, Michael Jackson, even Justin Timberlake. I also like kpop and 48/46G. Your taste in music are yourselves. But don't generalize that everybody who like AKB don't like kpop or other western music. Everyone has their own taste in music. Better shut your mouth and don't try to put words in other people mouth.

The point of my comment was that even with how usually open I am to different kinds of music, I still couldn't like K-Pop. I don't think anything is mutually exclusive, I just don't like it and it's not because I'm being close minded or obtuse. The key part here is "I" since what I was saying, in a rather pedantic way, I admit, was that I and solely I, 2d, don't give a crap about Produce 101.

But... you're the one who is putting words in my mouth? I said that I didn't understand how it happened, not that it doesn't happen or not even that it shouldn't happen.

Guys, come on, it was just a stupid comment and I'm sorry it ruffled your feathers.
