Forreal, this shouldn't be done. Korean fans will be disappointed

Those two + Honda Hitomi must be really tired of travelling back and forth Korea and Japan.

Dec 5, Sakura, Hitomi and Nako will be front and center in the AKB performance of No Way Man at the Music Festival and then 10 days later Sakura and Nako will perform at an HKT concert. This would not look so bad in a year or two, but they just cut the cord with AKB/HKT a couple weeks ago and now it seems that they never really left. Will they keep one foot in Izone and the other in AKB for the next 29 months? I assume that AKS is trying to make use of their popularity to boost sales, but that just might backfire on them.

Actually this is a smart way to pre-promote IZ*ONE in Japan. IZ*ONE is done with their Korean debut promotions for LVER, and they are gearing up for their Japanese debut as far as it seems. By keeping Sakura, Nako, and Hitomi active and visible in Japan during this period between IZ*ONE promotions, they are maintaining the link between IZ*ONE and 48G so that HKT48 and Team 8 fans - and all 48G fans see IZ*ONE as part of the 48G family (which it technically is by being managed by AKS in Japan). While the Korean members beef up on their Japanese, the Japanese members will be visible in Japan to indirectly promote IZ*ONE as well. In any case it doesn't hurt IZ*ONE.

@ Jolly_Roger If the Japanese girls get recalled by their groups to perform and the Korean girls get called back to their agencies for promotions, then Izone will lose their identity. Going backwards is not a good idea with a rookie group. They need to establish themselves before they disestablish themselves. That's what all the farewells and final performances were about

And as many said this reached the news in korea and they are really mad, it happened before (other produce group) and koreans fans hate that some promote in others groups apart from the one they are... If they keep doing this they will lose their fans instead

It's literally against the contract no? Well I meant AKS probably have more power that they can do this but it's unethical. Having them performing with 48G is like playing with fire when some Korean already hate 48G and Japanese so much. Not to mention it's unfair for the rest of IZ*ONE.

@Momo This is a single significant event. SakuNako and Hiichan are not going to be taking part in any ROUTINE 48G activities and promotions while in IZ*ONE. No theater shows, handshake events, Senbatsu Elections, Janken Tournaments, or promotion cycles. But taking part in some 48G events is not "routine" activity. And remember, IZ*ONE is a quasi-48G group due to it being co-managed by AKS and being co-produced by Aki-P, so taking part in 48G activities would not be like going outside the company. And none of the Korean members have a group, they are all trainees. SakuNako and Hiichan appearing in a 48G activity here and there keeps the bonds between their fans and IZ*ONE. For IZ*ONE to be successful in Japan, they need 48G fans to feel like they are part of the family and not just another Kpop group. Don't let a bunch of trouble-making knetz convince you that this is a big deal. It isn't.

this is silly but I kinda get it, while they were in korea, the Jline members weren't able to do a lot of shows/tv appearances due to language barrier and now that izone is promoting in japan it makes sense for them to be seen everywhere to draw attention to the fact that izone is in japan now.

Without Nako my interest in HKT wanes considerably, I'm glad she's she's coming back for a little reunion. There's still like 2 years to go
