They haven't lost their happy aura side of Hiragana even if they become Hinatazaka46. Joyfull love and Kyun are a new side of Hinata though.

They are not trying to be Kanji in this MV so I don't get what people say. Kanji wants to express feelings towards the song whether it's good feel (Futazon, Sekai, Kazeni) or powerful (sai-majo, fukyouwoan) or moody (dare koto, Getsu, Hiraishin) with a message behind it written by Aki-p. Only depressed songs they have made are Ambivalent and Kuroi. Their emo period from may to dec 2018.

W-Keyakizaka no Uta give you both worlds. The strength from Kanji and happiness from Hiragana. RIP to that song which was supposed to get Kanji and Hiragana to become one Keyakizaka someday and failed. It will be interesting to see what Aki-p will write now to fit Keyakizaka46 and Hinatazaka46.

If I have to guess Sony Music will appoint same composers behind W-Keyakizaka no Uta and Garasu Wo Ware for Keyakizaka no Uta and completely new composers for Hinatazaka no Uta.

^For me this is still very hiragana style (or should I say Hinatazaka?). The MV reminds me to Kitai Shitenai Jibun. And there's nothing wrong if the gives a Kanji aura, they were part of them and was considered Kanji's under before they separated themselves.
