IZONE / HKT48 member Miyawaki Sakura is recently very popular, it seems everyone want her (or don't let her go elsewhere), and you can see her everywhere, no matter at Korea, or at Japan.

And at HKT48's home: Hakata, according to Japanese fans' Tweet, the young idol's ads (for Saibu Gas) are dominating the whole JR Station:

No surprise. Sakura is simply awesome. I can understand how HKT48 fans feel, but she isn't disappearing off the face of the Earth. But their loss is the world's gain. Except for handshakes and theater performances which are limited to those in Japan and more specifically the local region around Fukuoka, many more fans all over Japan and the world will happily find they will get to see more of Sakura from her being in IZ*ONE than they would if she was just an HKT48 member. Kindly let the rest of us have her for 2.5 years, then you will get her and Nako back.

agreed with jolly roger... lend us sakura for 2.5 years and she'll be yours again hehehehehehehe... finally a new girl group to stan (because sakura's in izone) after I gave up being a SONE when jessica leave snsd...

tho it is clear that her contract in Iz*one is only for 2.5 years it is not a guarantee that after that time she will be back 100% with HKT48. on the chance that Iz*one reaches stratospheric levels of worldwide fame similar to other kpop groups, the management may just extend her and others contracts for longer.

newtown you never know... this is uncharted territory as far as what the endgame will be for Sakura, Nako, and Hitomi. But I think there is no doubt that the three will have gained more than enough global fame and popularity after 2.5 years with IZ*ONE to allow them far more opportunities... in Japan, Korea, and perhaps elsewhere... that they would never had even dreamed of prior to P48. All 3 J-line members will likely be decently fluent in Korean by then and will be able to take whatever opportunities come their way in both countries. Heck, Sakura, Nako, and Hitomi could end up being the core of a GNM48 (Gangnam 48) sister group.

Dam it's funny seeing Koreans not only invade Japan w/ JPOP but seemingly "out-fan" the fandom or at least appear to. When was the last time Japan got really excited over an Idol - Just 1 girl. Yes, I'm exaggerating a tad but for KPOP stans this level of devotion is STANDARD (it's a Tuesday). Jurina's fans bought a #1 Rank she's not even showing up for...Sakura's NEW Fans are buying Subway Electronic Billboards (That aint cheap).

It's having a ripple effect - I saw Mio (HKT) getting praise or something (Towers? Special Avatars?) from Koreans earlier today on Showroom. MIO...whose not even in connected to P48 or in AKB. Mayuyu was recently in Korea & I heard Paruru wants to learn or do K-Dramas there. Jurina even had a ground swell & fandom in Korea - It's an AMAZING time to be an IDOL...in KOREA.
