PRODUCE48 (Hangul: 프로듀스 48) is an upcoming girl group survival reality show, the show will begin airing on Mnet in June 2018, the concept of the show is to produces a girl group by choosing members from a pool of 96 trainees from Japan and Korea, debut song, and group name. Produce 48 is a collaboration between the Produce 101 series and the AKB48 group system.
According to Internet rumors, 40 AKB48 group members including Kashiwagi Yuki (AKB48), Kojima Mako (AKB48), Takahashi Juri (AKB48), Matsui Jurina (SKE48), Murase Sae (NMB48) and Miyawaki Sakura (HKT48) will be Japanese trainees of the show, they have had their CENTER battle, Miyawaki Sakura takes the first CENTER position of Japanese trainee.
