Muramoto Daisuke (Woman Rush Hour) updates his Twitter and strongly rebukes Niigata Prefecture, saying the local government not renew contract with NGT48.

Muramoto Daisuke wrote "You decides a group (person) because of their image, and dismiss them because of their image. Now, you should support them while they are in trouble. Decide using or not using upon the image, it is just because they have the value. Decide using or not using upon benefit, Niigata Prefecture Governor, isn't it?".

Moreover Muramoto Daisuke also wrote "NGT made contribution to Niigata. NGT helped Niigata, so I think Niigta should support NGT while they are in trouble. When the world has given up NGT, it is too cold-hearted Niigata also gives them up. I like Niigata's streets, but their administration is shxt.".

The NGT and AKS management are a disgrace for (1) Attempting to cover up the crime, (2) blaming the victim, (3) disrespecting the members and the fans (4) Persisting in this bad behavior while the NGT group loses support. The management must not be rewarded. They must be forced to take responsibility for their actions. There is a report that NGT is taking civil action against the suspects, but this is too little too late. The damage is done. AKS must apologize and send new managers that will be proactive in protecting the members and taking action against troublemakers.

I can see what he's saying, don't agree though.

Idol groups like 48g live and die by their image and once it's been sullied they need to clean it up quickly or business will suffer. Saying they should be supported now they're in trouble and others have abandened them isn't very logical. I don't pay contractors after they've finished the job because their other work fell through.

AKS knew the contract was up for renewal and failed to either put in place any measures the Administration could point to as showing progress or even prevent further fallout from the incident.
Not giving the prefecture any way of signing even a reduced deal shows just how bad the management has been over this.

    But that's how politic works.

If Niigata prefecture showed their support to NGT right now, it would just mean that Niigata, as a prefecture, supports and tolerates attempt to cover up a crime and victim blaming. Same goes for other sponsors. So yeah.

It’s not personal, it’s business. This guy doesn’t seem to realize that NGT48’s contribution to Niigata prefecture wasn’t for free. That’s not how investments work. This wasn’t sudden either, they told management to get their shit together and they obviously didn’t. The group was supposed to improve Niigata’s image and its doing the opposite. If management doesn’t remove the cancerous members or kill the group it’s only going to get worse for both Niigata and AKS.

I see his point but I don't agree with it. Yes, Niigata did benefit from NGT48 for sure and so did the group. Money came in when the theater was just starting thanks to the government support for NGT but for me AKS was given a chance to clean up the mess many times by Niigata but they never failed to miss the chance to right the wrong.

    agree 100% with Muramoto-san.
What people are doing here is destroying our beloved girls, punishing THEM for what others did.
You forget here about their great singing and dancing , the super nice music that they gave us. you want to bury them alive. Shame on you , you gutless fads.

@Ray we're not blaming the girls, but this scandal is already a national-wide. I don't think any businessmen or politicians in their right mind would continue to work with anything scandalous, so they're also not at fault. Even as a fan, it's really hard to keep supporting them when their innocence are questionable. We might be called otaku but we're not going to blindly support them. Honestly Katomina is a prime example.
AKS should transfer the innocent ones to another groups if they really did care about them.
