An idol gets caught holding hand with a guy and they get fired, this guy tried to sweep a serious crime against a member under the rug and caused worldwide scandal, major disruption with events getting cancelled and pulled sponsers costing the brand an unknown amount of money and he just gets moved to the home office. So fair.

This shitbag should not only have been fired, but charged with being an accomplice/accessory to a crime. Instead he gets what is essentially a promotion. This whole fiasco and how it has been handled is a disgrace for AKS, 48/46 Group, Jpop, and Japan as a country.

He should go straight to hell to burn. This shitbag should not only have been fired, but charged with being an accomplice/accessory to a crime. Instead he gets what is essentially a promotion. This whole fiasco and how it has been handled is a disgrace for AKS, 48/46 Group, Jpop, the Japanese justice system, and Japanese society.

@(un)-jolly_roger poor decision making and irresponsibilty are serious but in this case it led to costly mistakes. I am not sure those mistakes as bad and insensitive as they were rose to the level of a crime punishable by jail time or condamnation to hell I think the approprate punishment is losing any respect from the public he earned to that point and being fired. In Japan I believe there is a hugh preminum placed on public image and this really destroyed his public image so at least he paid that much.

@joe One of this piece of shit's responsibilities as Manager was to protect the members of NGT48 and advocate for them. Maho was victimized in a crime and this asshole shoved it under the rug and did nothing for her. She suffered and waited for some action to be taken on her behalf by management and they did nothing. Finally she was forced to deal with it herself, and by all indications management got angry with HER - not the criminals, HER, and wanted her to keep her mouth shut. F_ck that. I am no lawyer, but if this shitstain manager went out of his way to hide the fact a crime had been committed then he deserves jail. And has he been fired? No, he was given a promotion.

@jolly_roger - Yes if he hid the assault from the police or tried to cover it up to the authorites then I would agree with you, but it is not a crime to keep it hush hush from the fan base of public at large. If those attackers are a threat to the public then it i the authorities responsibility to make it public unless details around it are still being investigated and still not fully sorted out. It isn't the victim or their representitives duty "LEGALLY" but merely a choice. Choices like that have different consequences like getting fired, ostracized, sued, loss of public standing, loss of credibility, being villainized and basically looking like a dirtbag... He got most of that. I thing AKS not firing him is costing them financially and credibility as well. He needs to be fired and not allowed to be in that type of position unless retrained starting at ground floor.
