SKE48 24th Single & Hinatazaka46 1st Single Break 500k Sales

According to Billboard Japan, SKE48 24th single "Stand by you" and Hinatazaka46 1st single "Kyun" were selling good last week, with 49,163 copies and 36,831 copies sold respectively, and both of them's total sales both break 500,000 copies.

Moreover, NMB48's 20th single sold 12,344 copies, and its total sales has reached 295,963 copies.

  1. Kimi wo Matteru (King & Prince): 400,315 copies
  2. We are Hi☆Five (Hi☆Five): 49,202 copies
  3. Stand by you (SKE48): 49,163 copies
  4. Flying Fish (FANTASTICS from EXILE TRIBE): 42,625 copies
  5. Kyun (Hinatazaka46): 36,831 copies

    SKE48 24th single was released on 12 December 2018
    - 10 (9+1) handshake events
    - SKE48 previous handshake event was held on 6 April 2019 during the sales period
    - 55 members + 19 kks (current status)
    - SKE48 Obata Yuna graduated from SKE48 and held her final SKE48 handshake event on 6 April 2019 (during the sales period).

    Hinatazaka46 1st single was released on 29 March 2019
    - 9 handshake events
    - Hinatazaka46 previous handshake event was held on 7 April 2019 during the sales period
    - 21 members

    Agreed... don't see much common ground aside from the bare numbers, all things being equal.

    I wonder what Kyun's sales will look like in July, with all the akushuukais till then ;)

    Amazing numbers for both, although for me Hinata's is more remarkable because their debut single sold 500K.

    Thank you, I will appreciate it a lot. Oka also caught my attention, she's like the mini version of Shibata Aya that I would believe it if anyone told me they're sisters.
