ORICON, Japanese data compiling company specializing in providing data for the music/book industry, today announced the best-selling artist rankings for the first half of 2019, which were compiled between 10 December 2018 and 9 June 2019. The idol group Nogizaka46 have taken the first place for 2 consecutive years.

Top 3 best-selling artists

  1. Nogizaka46 (4.42 billion yen)
  2. King & Prince (2.79 billion yen)
  3. Queen (2.62 billion yen)
