Umemoto Izumi resigns from AKB48

According to AKB48 official blog, Team B research student Umemoto Izumi will resign from the group.

In this summer, Umemoto Izumi finds that she can not be optimistic about the current status and the future, so she decides to take a different path, her last group activity will be the handshake event on 25 November 2018, she will not have her graduation live.

Umemoto Izumi is AKB48's 16th generation, she joined the group in 2016.
