Even though Chikano was 5th gen member, I love the way how close she is with her senior because of her time with Team K

The strongest generation as a whole and individually. From cute to tomboy to sexy to strong to funny to smart to leadership, you name it.

I watch their variety with great nostalgia -- those early gens were so much more fun to watch than nowadays where it's all talk...

Funny thing about shoki generations, at least in idols... they're very nearly *always* stronger than the gens that follow -- look at Nogi & AKB48 -- and I think it has a lot to do with the senpai/kouhai system in general.

When you're the 1st generation of a new concept group... you're going to be put into situations where you have to make it up as you go along -- there are no senpai to cry to. Plus, mgmt is depending on you to maintain lift and not make mistakes. Harsher, but results in stronger, more confident and self-reliant idols...

I'm so happy to see AKB 2-kis(+1) having a great time remembering their AKB history together, when it was *much* harsher and the stakes were far higher, than current gens take for granted today. They can rightly take credit for helping to launch the most successful idol group in history.
