AKS filed suit yesterday (30 April 2019), against 2 male who assaulted NGT48 member Yamaguchi Maho.

On 7 January 2019, Japanese idol group NGT48's Team G member Yamaguchi Maho told her fans that she was assaulted by two males in her apartment on 8 December 2018, those 2 males were arrested but were subsequently released.

The incident soon catch public attention, on the other hand, NGT48 and their management AKS forced Yamaguchi Maho to make a public apology for causing trouble which aroused public public criticism, then NGT48 lost all local organizations and sponsors' support, their theatre performance was stopped, their radio shows were terminated, at last Yamaguchi Maho announced she is going to leave the group in May 2019.

According to NGT48's 3rd party investigation report which was revealed on March 2019, AKS were considering to handle the case through civil lawsuit.

To the suitcase, AKS do not deny, their reply is "There is nothing we are able to answer.".

My guess is they just want to save face just to get back a part of the deals they have lost due to them not taking care of the problem.

They are so tone deaf, its too late for justice and I don't believe in vengence all I would like is to believe they will correct the underlying problem and make it safer and let the idols have more of a share in the profits.

How is this not a criminal matter? Why were the suspects not charged? Why isn't AKS asking these questions of the Niigata police and prosecutor's office? A civil suit might end in some minor monetary damages which AKS will likely keep anyway. How is that justice?

If there is no damage to AKS, I dun believe the civil lawsuit will even happen ...

It's because NGT48 lost all local organizations and sponsors' support, their theatre performance was stopped, their radio shows were terminated. That's it .

ahhh there's damage to the revenue of NGT ... thats why they want to ... its never about Maho .....

Crap shit the management are ....

The suit might be aimed at some type of restraining order. I am still not sure why Maho wasn't the one handling the matter with the police instead of her management.
