BNK48: Girls Don’t Cry will be featured in Aperture: Asia & Pacific Film Festival, the documentary movie will be screened on Rio Cinema, London (13 June 2019, 6.30pm)

Synopsis: Since their debut in June 2017, the female idol group BNK48 who are the official international sister group of Japanese pop icon AKB48, has taken the Thai pop music world by storm. Acclaimed director Nawapol Thamrongrattanarit reveals these girl behind the public façade in the documentary. Through candid one-on-one interview and rare backstage footage, BNK48: Girls Don’t Cry offers a rare look into the sacrifices, tears and hard work these young girls endured on their path to become the widely adored pop stars they are today.
